Melton Mowbray celebrated a 61% uplift in footfall on Saturday 25th July 2026, compared with same Saturday last year – driven by key events held in the town. The town saw over 13,000 visits between 8am and 6pm as people enjoyed attractions across the town.
From the Midlands Makers at Stockyard, to the Super Saturday Town Market – then into the park for SKA-Fest and later in the day, live music on King Street – Melton Mowbray had something for all tastes. Businesses reported an increase in footfall and takings as the crowds moved throughout the town.
